Masterclass con Curro Leyton  Descubriendo a Rollock Los alumnos de primero han tenido el placer de recibir una Masterclass de mano de Curro Leyton. Han expresado su personalidad, plasmándola en un lienzo en blanco. Ha sido una experiencia muy satisfactoria, ya que los alumnos han disfrutado mucho y Curro ha sabido sacar el lado más artista de cada uno de ellos, les ha dado confianza y seguridad a la hora de realizar su obra. ¡Pulsa la imagen si quieres ver más fotos! March 30th is the Earth Hour.  The students of year 1 have been preparing some posters to inform people that Saturday, March 30th at 20:30 all around the planet people will be turning lights off to help the Earth being more healthy. Join the challenge!! 

What can you do with all those empty bottles or toilet rolls once they run out? Make toys!! Since the beginning of the term the students of year 1 have been bringing into school clean wasted materials from home such as plastic bottles, lids, toilet rolls, boxes, etc. Parents were invited to come and make toys and games with them. ¡Qué bien lo hemos pasado cocinando barritas energéticas para el desayuno! Un aspecto fundamental en nuestro proyecto es la reducción del uso de plástico, por lo que si cocinamos nosotros mismos y guardamos los alimentos en nuestra caja del desayuno reutilizable, estamos ayudando al planeta. In year 1 of Primary we have been learning so many sounds and words that now it is time to show everyone how cool we are... We can make sentences!! The teacher gave us two words and as a team we had to think of a sentence including them. Each one of us had a job in the team: 1-Writes 2-Controles the time 3-Checks the spelling 4-Checks that it makes sense We all together build the sentence and help eachother. She was watching a movie with popcorns. She was watching the movie of Coco and she went to a restaurant. She ate pasta.

We have celebrated Peace Day!  On January the 30th in Year 1 of Primary, we wanted to work together with our ''Let's Make a Better World!'' Project. For that reason we have created a poster in wich you can read both in English and Spanish:  ''WHICH WORLD WOULD YOU LIKE TO LIVE IN? IT'S IN YOUR HANDS'' ''¿EN QUÉ MUNDO PREFIERES VIVIR? ESTÁ EN TUS MANOS'' The kids have enjoyed a lot making it, being concious of what a healthy, clean and happy world means. Press the photo to see more.
